How ranking works

Shove (shove.lol) is a public pay-to-rank leaderboard. You pay more, you shove them off #1. Paste a URL or @handle and pay in whole US dollars. You land at whatever rank that bid can take. Each row shows the clicks it actually got. Clicks do not change rank.

Rank on Shove is only the bid. A new listing pays that amount in full. Topping up the same URL or @handle costs the difference, and the new bid must be at least one dollar higher. Taking #1 needs at least five dollars above the current first place, unless that row is crown-locked. Equal bids keep the older listing higher.

New listings and top-ups

Bids are whole dollars from $1 to $999,999. After Dodo checkout you get a private manage link. That token is how you raise the bid later. There are no accounts.

Crown lock

Pay five times the current #1, or $25, whichever is larger, to hold first place for three hours. Other bids still land at the rank the amount can take under the lock. Weekly #1s go on the hall of fame.

This is the public Shove (shove.lol) directory as rendered on the server. Rank is the bid in whole US dollars. Clicks and cost per click are published on every row and do not change order. Open a listing for the destination URL, or use GET /api/listings to read the same data as JSON.
